Knighthawks: Native American Heritage Game
The Rochester Knighthawks took on the Georgia Swarm in the final game of the National Lacrosse League season during Native American Heritage Game. Rochester donned the purple and teal for its annual Native American Heritage Game.
The Rochester Knighthawks fell in their season finale, 17-12, to the Georgia Swarm at The Blue Cross Arena on Sunday in front of a franchise record crowd of 9,024.
The Knighthawks finished their season 6-12 and will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2022.
The K-Hawks offered a special Cayuga Nation Ticket Discount, which some fans took advantage of.
"I've never been to a lacrosse game and had no idea just how exciting it is. As a new Rochester resident, I'll be in the stands when they return next season," said Jeff Macharyas, Communications & Marketing Manager, Cayuga Nation.
"Thanks for sending the coupon code. We had great seats and really enjoyed the action. We especially enjoyed watching the Native dancers and hearing the significance and stories behind their performances, both before the game and during half-time," said John Komara, owner of The Printing Center in Geneva and die-hard Knighthawks fan.
