Department of Interior Confirms Halftown Council as
Governing Body of Cayuga Nation Indian Affairs for the United States Department of Interior has issued a determination confirming that the Cayuga Nation Council are the recognized tribal leadership of the Cayuga Nation "for all purposes" as a matter of law |

New York State Court of Appeals
The Court of Appeals issued the attached decision in the Nation’s leadership dispute and reversed the determination of the Appellate Division. The majority determined that a state court could not become involved in the Nation’s leadership dispute due to the Nation’s sovereign status. |

We are very honored that, Cayuga Nation member, Margaret Brayley was named Indian Village Princess this year. Come see the Turtle Mound, home of the traditional dances that take place three times daily at 11:00am, 4:00pm and 7:00pm. |

NATION PICNIC
The Cayuga Nation will hold their Annual Picnic. Nation Members of the Cayuga Nation make the trip out the the original ancestry lands near Cayuga New York. The Nation members will receive a tour of the Nations properties and businesses.
